I am so excited to share these look posts with you this week. I have called them the FashionxMusic Series as these looks are inspired by some of my favourite songs. These songs are perfect for a cool summer’s day or a long road trip, filled with so much meaning and have you singing along at the end. Fashion and music are so closely inspired by the other and both can express a feeling greater than ourselves.
Sail by Awolnation is an electrifying dark alternative track that evokes almost a sinister mood in me. I love this song for its honesty and the desperation in every note. With this look I focused on the band name AWOLNation, keeping the palette very muted and the style like I was wondering the streets as a troubled teen with nowhere else to go.
