Last week’s lookpost was about exploring your “inner fashion bold’ using prints…a lot of prints!  This week, we are still keeping to being bold, but for the more subtle at heart.

Texture is the perfect way to add drama to an outfit while still maintaining a sense of simplicity.  I love textures with a great feel or a striking design and with this look I chose a collection of textures, keeping to a monochromatic palette of blues.  

This navy bomber with gold hardware and beautiful suede trim from Woolworths is such a statement item for the season.  With its nautical, camper style, it makes the simplest ensemble pop.  This jacket can appear masculine so soften it by adding a skirt with a feminine, textured print or a flushed shirt, like an acid washed denim shirt.

Add a sporty twist to any outfit by pairing it with a pair of low sneakers.  The more sporty the design, the better.
